There are several local cleaning companies that offer duct cleaning as an add on service. And we'd like the believe they all do an amazing job..

But your homes air duct system is a vital part of your home and shouldn't be taken lightly. It is one of the biggest pieces to your hvac system and comfort level. So we believe that a true hvac proffessional should be the only one to interact with the duct system. We know a duct system inside and out, we design and install them on a regular basis and have a full comprehensive understanding of how they work.

There are two types of air duct cleaning.

The method we use is negative pressure. This method uses a machine hooked to your ducts that creates 2700 CFM of negative pressure          ( vacuum) in the duct system.  We then cover up all the ducts to create a deep vacuum and clean each duct one by one. All debris gets sucked into a hepa filtration system. So none of the dust gets blown around inside the home.

The other method is called rotobrush. This method uses a 500cfm vacuum with brushes attached at the end. This method gets the majority of dirt out, but can't reach through the entire duct system. It can also create blockages and dust issues during the cleaning. 

The industry recommends having your homes air ducts cleaned every 5 years. However every home is different. If there are pets, construction, large households, then the ducts might need cleaned every 3yrs.

A typical Duct cleaning ranges between $350 To $1200. Depending on how many ducts there are, size of the home, accessiblity, amount and type of debris and a few other factors.
